The hosts

Our choice: The Brixental

The Brixen Valley with its three charming villages of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg in Tirol and Westendorf is the perfect place for the first Woodstock Academy. A mountain idyll and a valley spectacle, a cozy place with warm hosts, a musician-friendly place, in our opinion. But above all it is one thing – versatile.

Because the region takes on a new shape for each and every one of its guests: sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs can cycle or hike along the almost endless network of trails right through the beautiful countryside. Families take the gondola up to one of the mountain adventure worlds and spend exciting vacation days here. And if you want to experience a mountain vacation from a completely new perspective, try your hand at archery or golf and then enjoy regional delicacies in one of the region’s KochArt restaurants. In short: Brixental is the perfect venue for the Woodstock Academy.

Guided hikes.

Monday to friday

The Brixental Valley with its surrounding mountains offers almost endless possibilities. From the panoramic hike at Kreuzjöchlsee to the high-percentage light hike in the evening. From herb hikes to summit tours. From a golf taster lesson to a climbing course for children. Many offers in the region are free of charge for holders of the guest card. Which summit tour do you want to start?

Children’s program.

Family dream in the Kitzbühel region.

Children and families are also catered for in the Kitzbühel Alps. Whether it’s an alpine hike or a climbing course for children. Whether it’s a family day at the cheese dairy or a vacation day on the farm. Interesting, educational and exciting – for parents and children, for the whole family or for children among themselves.

Taste and stroll.

Program outside the Academy as well.

The program outside the Woodstock Academy is perfect for your companions or accompanying family. Whether it’s the Monday running meeting in Kirchberg or a tour of the village including cheese tasting in Westendorf. The offer is often free of charge for guests in the region.

Mountain lights.

A real eye-catcher on the last weekend in August

As fate, chance – or perhaps even our planning – would have it, the traditional Brixental Valley Mountain Festival takes place at the end of August. It is a long-standing tradition and a spectacle that is absolutely worth seeing in the region. Torches are lit on the alpine pastures and mountains all around, creating a magnificent sea of light. So if you’re already in the region on August 20, 2022, you absolutely must be there!
